As the Christmas season slowly moves past us, and the new year begins it’s easy for me to reflect on the year I’ve just completed and dream of the one before me. More than ever I feel compelled to spend quality time with family and friends as Joe and I will be moving out of state before the bell tolls on 2016. We are so excited for new adventures and making dreams come true, but the thought of moving away from loved ones is a bit sad. This post won’t be a reflection on 2015 or a story of where we are going (and why) in 2016, but rather it’s a show of how simple it can be to create memories with little hearts and best friends.
I was able to enjoy an afternoon with my sister and nieces this past Friday at The Paine Art Center for Nutcracker in the Castle. It was my first trip and I was in complete awe at the beauty of this home/museum and it’s unique history. For as much as toting my camera along on personal adventures can seem like a job, I am grateful to capture a bit of beauty in my everyday. If you didn’t get a chance to visit The Paine this winter, I highly recommend putting it on your calendar for the next Christmas season!
