The Kren Family

This Christmas Cookie Photoshoot was a bit of a last minute request but I’m so glad Lauren reached out for it! I photographed this crew 4 years ago to THE DAY in the same space doing the same thing – how great is that?!

Stepping back into their home after so long didn’t feel odd in the least. Lauren and Kevin are always so welcoming and the conversation topics that 4 kids bring up always keep me laughing. The idea of a c-section wasn’t on my radar during the session until their oldest brought it up out of curiosity. You can’t plan this stuff, which is why I love working with families! If anyone can roll with the waves I hope it’s always me… I also hope I responded appropriately, ha!

I’m still baking my own little cookie and wrapping up 2020 sessions. Always thankful for work to do while learning from parents and families, like the Kren’s, about how important family time is. I really do have takeaways from each crew I encounter about parenting, family values, and navigating all the topics that come up around the table.
